Teachers should be allowed to be tested for coronavirus at public expense. Educational ombudsman Sergei Gorbachev said this during live morning show on one of the main Ukrainian TV channels. 
According to him, communication with school principals indicates the situation is now generally incomprehensible as to how tests for COVID-19 for teachers should be conducted in case of emergency.
He also noted that while teachers are always a risk group, the cheapest PCR tests cost 6️0️0️ UAH.
“In terms of funding, we were just left hanging. Of course, our local budgets are now being used to cover these costs but they have their limits because these costs are not provided for, “- said the educational ombudsman.
