Parliament expects mass vaccination of Ukrainians against coronavirus in April

Lockdown in January will reduce the number of COVID-19 patients. According to the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada committee on health issues Mikhail Radutsky, this will allow the medical system to avoid collapse and hold out until April. 🤒 It is then that the mass vaccination of Ukrainians should begin.

The stock of the medical system will last until April, – Radutsky
The people’s deputy stressed that the January restrictions are less stringent than they were in the spring of 2020. Radutsky wrote about this on Facebook.

I found positive results of the policies and in the weekend quarantine. According to the people’s deputy, this made it possible to keep the number of infected people at a stable level.

💬 “In this case, with a high probability, there will be no need for another lockdown. The safety margin of the medical system will be enough until April, when the mass vaccination begins,” 💉
– said Radutsky.

Now hospitals are loaded on average by 50%, the parliamentarian said. The number of oxygen-supplied beds has also been significantly increased.

Ukraine plans free vaccination, – Stepanov
Note that the head of the Ministry of Health Maxim Stepanov said that Ukraine plans to vaccinate all citizens free of charge. First of all, the drugs will go to the so-called risk groups based on professional and medical grounds. These groups include about 20 million Ukrainians.
