The Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law thanks to which Ukraine can use vaccines 💉 Pfizer \ BioNTech, Sinovac Biotech, Moderna, Sinopharm, AstraZeneca. 318 MPs voted for the document.
We are talking about the bill No. 4613 “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine” On Medicines “regarding the state registration of medicines under obligations”.
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov noted that between the first and second readings the law needs to be amended.
Why a bill is needed
Now, not a single vaccine against COVID-19 has passed the full test cycle. This project provides for an emergency regime for the registration of vaccines in Ukraine in Ukrainian legislation.
Benefits of the bill:
prevention and non-admission to circulation of counterfeit, substandard and unregistered medicines;
accelerating vaccination of the population to prevent COVID-19;
harmonization of national legislation with European, namely Directive 2001/83 / EC.
ℹ️ Reference: the authors of the bill are 9 people’s deputies from the Servant of the People faction, including the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, Medical Assistance and Medical Insurance Mikhail Radutsky.
