What cinema theaters might look like after the pandemic?

What will the world be like after the pandemic? 🙈 London-based design studio LAYER pondered what an entertainment life might look like once all restrictions have been lifted. For example, the designers have developed the Sequel Seat cinema seat, created with epidemiological safety in mind.
🎞 Designers from LAYER studio showcased Sequel Seat cinemas, designed with epidemiological safety in mind. According to the designers, commercial cinemas should be equipped with such chairs in order to minimize the possibility of infection.
The fully adjustable seats are equipped with removable matte protective screens and UV lamps that sterilize the seat. The fabric upholstery of the seat is waterproof and made with antibacterial copper threads, which are woven to prevent dirt from accumulating in the crevices. These threads have antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties.
🔈 The headrests also display the identity of each viewer so as not to slow down the seating position. Each seat has its own personal speakers. Another interesting aspect – when creating the chairs, the designers were inspired by the color palette used in Wes Anderson’s films.
